Posted: 28 Sep 2016 10:00 AM PDT Hi everyone, My name is Danny Garfield and I am the President and lead thing-doer at Puuba. Joined by the always amazing David Logan, the lead producer on The Metronomicon and CEO of his own studio, Night Light Interactive, creators of the award-winning Whispering Willows. Also! Dave, our QC/Sound Guy and Joey, our Lead Artist! Our newest game (which can be bought at a discount until launch tomorow) The Metronomicon is a rhythm-based RPG that launches tomorrow. I've always wanted a game with that classic RPG feel, complete with deep strategy, combat, and choice... but that also frantically engages your brain non-stop. Something like ADHD meditation. We have an amazing musical lineup for the game, featuring artists such as: Jimmy Urine from Mindless Self Indulgence, Shiny Toy Guns, Perturbator, Dj Cutman, and YACHT. We will be having a few awesome (and notable) streamers from the rhythm-games community streaming over the next couple days that will be doing key giveaways, so go follow them now! JasonParadise @ 8PM EST Tonight (9/28): Last weeks featured streamer on Twitch and overall amazing Guitar Hero player. https://www.twitch.tv/jasonparadise Staiain from AGDQ at 1pm EST Tomorrow (9/29): Will probably attempt to break our game with his incredible speed running ability. https://www.twitch.tv/staiain Combined, we have launched over 50 games. Independently, with publishers, and as part of big ol' companies, we have even worked with some big names such as Universal, Sony, Disney, Paramount, and Dreamworks. We have a lot of experience in all aspects of the game development space. So feel free to ask us anything about our games, our how-to, or just making it in the indie space! Go #SlayTheDanceFloor tomorrow with The Metronomicon! Follow us in the Twittersphere: @PuubaDanny @Daevox EDIT: It's 1:20 PST right now, and some of us are starting to meander off for food. We'll still be checking in periodically, but thank you So Much, all, for the really awesome questions! <3 <3 [link] [comments] |

Humble Clickteam Fusion Bundle expanded with Android exporter module and Developer edition Posted: 28 Sep 2016 08:09 PM PDT I feel this is worth bringing up since it likely would have flown under the radar in this subreddit: the recent Humble Clickteam Fusion Bundle just got additional content in the form of the Android exporter module and Developer edition. This is kind of a unique circumstance given there was nothing more to be added to the bundle next week and Clickteam did this in response to some feedback they received. So, if anybody was undecided about using these tools, this might make you reconsider. The new stuff is in the $15 tier. [link] [comments] |
